long, black, buzzing nasty !
4 Answers
I've only ever seen one before (again in my house), but had another in my living room this evening (southeast UK)
About an inch long flying (very loud buzz when flying) insect. Long thin and black with what looked like a huge sting on its rear. It wasn't soft bodied .. took quite a lot of effort to kill it (sorry, but I panicked!)
I can't find a picture of it anywhere and have no idea what is was .. but do know it didnt look like any normal insect.
Would anybody have any ideas please ??
