Over the past two years we have lost three of or four lovely tame Aylesbury ducks to foxes (it always seems to happen in May). Does anybody know where we could buy some more (we live in Wirral) and does anyone have any answer to the problem of predation? The ducks live out with access to a large and deep pond and to a couple of acres of fields.

a friend of mine bought some from a farmers market, she used to put them in a large secure 'duck' house on a night and never had a problem.
Mine also have free range during the day but are housed at night. We have a fox problem in our area but touch wood have never had any of the ducks etc.taken.
Where you ducks taken at night or during the day?
