Hi I have just be given two six week old kittens they are adorable and im just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how to persuade them to use the litter tray ?? many thanks

Seriously though, that is far too young for them to be taken from their mother, they should be with mum for at least another 2 weeks, if not longer.
Anyway, watch them after eating and drinking, if you see them circling or scratching in a corner, pick them up and put them in the litter tray straight away. Hold their front paws and make a scratching motion, it won't take long for them to get the idea. Cats are very clean animals by nature. (NO lectures about them pooing in your gardens please!)

Patience, keep watching your kittens and as above if they are sniffing in one place this can indicate they need to use the tray, gently lift them up and into the tray and as soon as they have wee'd or poo'd - LEAVE the soiled litter in the tray for a few days - so they get used to their smell and that is where they will return to the tray to go to the loo !
