Cat nose bleeds this is urgent!!

Right hi you guys as you may well know our cat is very doddery and going blind well yesterday after noon he fell down eight stairs after loosing his balance,he had a nose bleed for about five minutes afterwoulds which i treated wirh an ice pack on the bridge of his nose it stopped after much crying from the cat and claws being involed. this morning he seems fine and is eating well but for future refernece was the first aid right?

I think you did what you thought was best. Noses of animals are very sensitive and I would just be carefull not to get its nose too cold for too long as this could possibly damage the tissue. Poor little mite.

You should take him to the vets to check everything's ok after the fall. The nose bleed sounds a severe reaction and I wouldn't feel comfortable until the vet gives him the all clear.
