The Gelechiid moth is another one.

There are also many caterpillars that use leafs, closing it around them to build their cocoon. I know a caterpiller can't fly, but they are still classed as flying insects.

my garden has also been demolished by the leaf cutter bee. They cut chunks out of the leaf, roll it up and then fly off, they then make a nest, usually in your pot plants below ground. If you check where they have been you will find a cigar like object, this is all the leafs moulded together, they then lay their larva inside and next year they will hatch. They are completely harmless and facinating to watch.
