The Severn and the Thames are both about the same length at around 210 miles. (It depends upon where you decide the estuaries end as to which is really the longer.) The Trent, at about 180 miles, is third.
The Severn, Then Thames and finally the Trent.
You beat me to the punch on that one Quizzy but the Severn is accepted by nearly all sources as the longest river in the UK.
I wouldn't quibble about that, S. That was probably tucked away at the back of my mind when I listed it first.
