Cats messing my drive?
9 Answers
Hi
Every night I am returning home to 4+ poos on my gravel drive, which I, as a non-animal owner, due to asthma, have to clear up. I've seen 2 cats in the vacinity, so am assuming its them and not dogs. What can i do to deter them. I tried using Jeyes Fluid in my watering can around the area, hoping the smell would put them off visiting my drive, but it hasn't - maybe the rain keeps washing that away?

A lady was seen several times letting her dog do it's poos just inside our gates/piers & on our gravel drive.
I found out where this lady lived & wrote her a very polite letter, asking her to refrain from letting her dog do it's business in our garden & to let it do them in her's! It stopped from then on!
However, it's very difficult to deal with roaming cats, so I would suggest 'Get Off' spray or granules from 'Pets at Home' - both are supposed to be very good.
Good luck!

You could try some electronic devices that repel cats. They come in battery powered or mains powered and we have one that does the trick. I got it from www.primrose-london.co.uk but if you click on this link it takes you straight to the right page. cat repeller
