What could the bloody bird that woke me up at half 11 last night have been??? surely it shouldn't have been up that late! and can i shoot it with my air rifle if it wakes me up again tonight?

Probably the same blackbird that acts as my early morning (ie 2am) alarm clock. Yes it can stay up that late, it told its mum where it was going and anyhow it isn't a school day tomorrow. And no you can't shoot it with your air rifle, don't be daft, it's a blackbird and you'll never spot it in the dark.

lol sddsddean :) you're probably right there! i listened to some ird noises on the net and i think kit is right and it was a blackbird. Haven't heard it since though so it must read this website :)
