It doesn't say he took it to the vets - the RSPCA say a man had his kitten removed. Can you honestly see a kitten eating cocaine of its own accord? If this useless piece of filth wants to ruin his own life thats his lookout but to do this (or allow it be done) to a poor defenceless animal is beyond the realms of my comprehension. I'd like five minutes alone in a cell with him.

I don't agree he wants putting down,but,I was horrified to read this story earlier to day. It opens up a whole can of worms I had never even thought of before. You always hear about children of addicts being affected,but,pets? This is a whole new issue!

I suspect this is all part of the PR machine whereby Pete has to be in the papers everyday. This story is almost certainly factless, made up a a publicist and is designed to enhance his bad boy image. ( see Johnny Rotten et al).

The RSPCA says: "The RSPCA has made exhaustive internal inquiries and wishes to make it clear that the society has not had any contact with Pete Doherty or any of his pets. The society has not been given any evidence that any animal in his possession has 'eaten' cocaine and Mr Doherty is not being investigated by the RSPCA."

So nobody need die of cancer, ok?

Unrelated, as I didn't know about this story, but every time I see his pasty, sickly, smug face, I just think he should fall off the edge of the planet...He makes me ill.
