How can you stop or ease my dog from maulting so much during the summer, I have a Golden Retreiver ?

you can't. We take off our winter woolies and so do they. minimise moulting problems by brushing daily during the moult, keeping the dog cool and feeding extra oil in the diet to helped ingested fur pass through the system
As woofgang rightly says "you can't" but a small amount Oil of Evening Primrose is a good conditioner for their coat and as already stated keep grooming.
Frequent cool baths help get rid of the the fluffy stuff quicker and make the dog smell good too. I use Infacare as it is kind to the dogs eyes, leaves a lovely shiny coat and they smell like babies too. Ahhh
I have a labrador and find that keeping it in a plastic bag keeps the hair from getting everywhere.
