Oh jedimistress , thankyou , you are kind to ask . I am trying to get funds together at the moment to book her in to have the lump removed as it has to come off and the vet will send it off if necessary when they see what it is. It is a general anaesthetic and as soon as I can I have to ring the vets to get her in. :-) xx
Thankyou leelapops gelda and cruella , I will let you know when I have a date for her op.. :-) xxx
Where do you live BM......are there not any animal charities in your area that will help you out with costs? My baby [Great Dane] has just had surgery...total cost 2700....2000 was covered by insurance but the RSPCA donated 100 towards what was not covered. If you're not covered by insurance or the PDSA have a ring round.....there are people out there who will help.
Good luck hun!
Hi bigmamma,
Why not take Porsche to the PDSA.
They will treat your dog for a simple donation.
Vet bills can be very high and as you have health problems and unable to work, they will treat Porsche in the same way that a private vet does. They are very good with animals too.
Justgive them a phone.
good Luck.
Let us know how you get on.
Love to Porsche. Misty sends kisses. xx
Hello you kind , thoughtful people , I will give PDSA a ring and see if I qualify if , as you say , she will get treated as well as her usual private vet would. I wish I could take her and get it over with before xmas but on disability life doesn't cover such emergencies so your suggestions may be very useful thankyou . I will let you know how I get on when I ring . :-) xxx
If you are in receipt of Housing and or Council tax benefit you will qualify for PDSA cover.... Although I work I still am as I am on a low wage. Unfortunately the Pdsa couldn't offer the op that Lola needed.
