Hey buddies - did you both get lots of toys and sweets for Christmas?

Did either of you manage to climb the Christmas tree? Our slave bought a tree that we couldn't climb - something called a topiary tree from Tesco. It was naff.

Lots of love

Hey frankie!

Cefa here, our mum & dad spoilt the fun and didnt put up any chirstmas tree or decorations, although the dismantled fake tree is still sitting in the front room, I think they left it for me to hide in!

Splodgey says that he very much enjoyed the treats that Grandcat Sue (Mums Mum) put in the pet treat bag, although the big hairy dog got a treat & a toy! But dad wouldnt let mum buy us pets anywhere near as many pressies as we normally have! He says the usual 150 she spends is far to much!

I think the rest of the mob would say something, but they are sleeping, especially my feline mummy K.C who has spent the last 2 days locked in the neighbours garage, and we have had to hear alllllllll about it!

Purrs and paws!
Cefa, Splodge and the sleepy mob, Sammy, Smokie, Spinks & Leo!
And many Miaows from K.C!

Sorry I didn't direct my post to you Cefa (my mum had a friend with a cat called Cat!) - I forgot all about the girl cats on AB.

My human uncle sent Merlin and me pressies. We got a stocking each. They had the most horrendous looking dried whitebait in them, they were made of fish or something. Yuck! Human mummy says they looked gross. They had their heads still on and their little beady eyes just looked at us accusingly.

Mum turfed them in the bin after I projectile spat one across the desk. Merlin just ran away from them - but she IS a girl (not that I meant that you were all girly).

Mummy then gave us roast beef. Yummy.

I don't have human grandparents - I feel really deprived. But at least we don't have a nasty doggie sharing our space, although getting a puppy is often mentioned.

Tell KC that she was silly to get locked up like that.

Meows and hisses to everybody.

Hi there, Tigsy here wishing you all a Happy New Year.

Bluey and I didn't get any pressie or have a tree to climb this year. We don't normally have a tree anyway as our mummy spends most of the time with our grandparents who live elsewhere. Last year we got a stocking each but because we are very fussy with what we eat and find the toys very tedious we didn't get anything this year. Do you think we are an ungrateful pair???

We did get a box of Gourmet Pearl pouches as a treat. They were lovely. Hope we them regularly from now on. Hint hint!!!

Hope you all have a lovely 2008.

Meows and little chatters to all

Tiggs and Blue - I have to admit that our stockings were naff. Dried fish and catnip sweets! Catnip is okay, but not in sweeties. We got plastic balls and fabric mice - but they are in our toy box.

Mummy bought luxury Tesco food but we made a point of saying that it wasn't all that great.

Since you were abandoned at Christmas you must make your humans pay - eat nothing but the Gourmet pearl pouches.

Hello frankie - Florence here.
Our human bought us some new catnip toys - they are something called aromatherapy for cats. Daisie and I played with them for ages and were totally spaced out for most of Christmas. I did overhear the human saying she wondered if it would make me sleep so I don't know what was in them,
I made sure I had lots of treats too. I've discovered that if I sit next to her and yell continually she gives in - anything for a quiet life she says!

I just noticed that my last post was attributed to our slave, Wolf. Bah - stupid woman must have forgot to lot out.

Florence and Daisy (- got a brother called Dillon?) it's not that we don't like the drug catnip, but not in our sweets.

I was extra nice to our human last night, I woke her up at about two in the morning so that she could feed us and to tell her that her roof was leaking. She said that it was thanks to us that she spent the rest of the night worrying about the gale and lashing rain.

Sounds like she was really grateful. A nice man came to visit us this afternoon and see how bad the roof is (it's not bad). Humans are pretty stupid 'coz they buy their houses and have to maintain them too. Hope that repairs don't eat into our food sachet money.

Hello agin frankie and merlin.
How did you know - Daisie did have a brother called Dylan but sadly he lost a fight with a landrover and is no longer with us.
The human misses him very much but Daisie is like him in character.
My sister was called Ermintrude but she is also dead so it's just the two of us now.
You should get extra treats for warning your human about the rain!

Watch yourse Florence, cats are meant to have nine lives. Your family don't seem very lucky!
Hi frankie, merlin, cefa, tigsy, bluey and florence. Sorry for the delay in replying - the internet connection has been broken and my silly mum took ages to get it sorted.

My christmas was miserable - my mum went to a place called France and left me somewhere she called a cattery. It was just like when I was abandoned and left at the Battersea dogs and cats home a couple of years ago and I was really scared that she'd abandoned me too. I spent 6 days hiding in my basket and wouldn't talk to anyone who came to see me. I did come out to eat though - couldn't bear to see food wasted.

When she came to collect me I wanted to be mad but I was so happy to see her I came straight out of my basket and climbed on her shoulder then spent the next three days not letting her out of my sight. She did make a really big fuss when I got home though and I had new catnip toys to chew and chase and some lovely treats - I don't know what they are called but they are like long sticks and taste of salmon yum!

I think she still feels guilty about leaving me but I was ok really and if I have to go there again at least now I know she will be coming back.

Glad to hear everyone else had fun - new year was nice for me as my mum was ill and spent 3 days in bed so I too spent three days curled up, all nice and cosy between her feet - that's my favouite place to be.
