i dont think that they can tu de bang. I dont thnk there mouth muscles are strong enough to be able to grip such a small think!
I did have a dog which used to drink out of a hose pipe though

yes sausage i believe ytou may be correct on this one as my puppy is a boxer she has a decidedly 'floppy' mouth. did your dog reach the stage of actually turning on the hose pipe itself?

No it never got that far, if we where filling horses water buckets with hose pipe he would just pick it up and put it in his mouth...would get really wet though
