How's Porsche this morning

Hi Bigmamma-wasn't about last night & have just read the threads from Garner and Pastafreak .I see Posche got through OK -that's great .......How are things this morning ?

Morning beejay , thankyou for asking , how thoughtful you are , bless. Well Porsche is fine this morning after spending the night with the cone collar on . She is to be seen at the vet tomorrow to check her wound and to check for swelling if any. Her stitches are due out on the 28th , I hope to have the histology results by then . At this moment she is lapping up some water :-) xxx

I bet she would be very happy if she knew how many people where concerned about her.x

Hi bigmamma, i'm pleased porsche is on the mend, i received your P.M. Hi megan and smudge , she has slept a lot today , as she had to have the collar on all night I think she is catching up plus recovering . The collar , I 've discovered , is called an Elizabethan collar , so now it has a nickname , Porsche and I call it just simply Elizabeth. :-) xxx

Continued good wishes for a full recovery. You can now buy a sort of stiff elastic stocking thingy which goes on the dogs neck to prevent it from turning round or reaching to chew stitches etc, they are easier to manouevre in than the Elizabethan collars and they can get through doorways without getting wedged! Don't know what they are called, will consult the oracle.

Yes , Elizabeth does look rather huge round Porsches neck as she is a large labrador and needs the 30cm one, it is impossible for her to get through the doorway in it . I shall be interested as to what the other elasticated stocking thingy is. :-) xxx

Great big mamma pleased all went well last night.I have heard of those elastic collers which lankeela mentioned I think it would be worth a try for poor baby, she might be able to sleep better and of course get around in comfort.Pleased all is going well for you both love .g.xx
