Hahn's Macaw Shouting !!!

I would like some help on our pet Hahns Macaw, she is about 4 years old is a great talker & is well loved and cared for, she is very tame and comes out everyday, but lately she has this habit of doing this shouting even when we are in the same room and talking to her. When she is put to bed and covered over she just talkes to her shelf and does not shout at all, she is driving us mad !!!! can anyone help please.

Yep, and it is not just Hahn's macaws... all pet parrots will go through a shouting phase until they realise that it doesn't get them the attention they desire.
Ofcourse, the ones that get attention with their shouting - either by being shouted back at or quietened with a tickle or tidbit - can become habitial shouters and that is very hard to cure.
So mind, no reaction.
A negative consequence such as covering or move the cage to another part of the house is more effective. This will have to be repeated constantly without fail, so mind you don't decide to move the cage to the garage or similar or you have to go cart the cage outside every time it shouts.
