First frog and frogspawn

The first frog arrived in our pond today. Has anybody got any frogspawn yet? It seems to appear earlier every year.

Whoever - my husband keeps a wildlife diary and we first noticed frogspawn in our pond on 22nd January. Last year it was January 29th. We live in East Devon by the way.

We've had frogspawn in our pond for several days, and quite alot of it. We live in East Devon too...

I found frogspawn this morning in the handhold of a manhole cover (this is the 3rd year). 2 years ago I managed to raise several frogs from it in a washing up bowl - no room for a pond, but none survived last year. Let's hope for better luck this year. I am in Bristol.
