Scary animals

What animal or creature are you frightened of
or dislike? The one I detest I can't bring myself

I am intrigued now Mary!
I don't think there's any animal I am likely to meet in this country that I am frightened of. I wouldn't like to meet a tiger on a dark night but I think they are magnificent animals.

A demented dog is a pretty scary sight. Their owners should be put down.

For me it is CHAMELEONS!!!! (thank goodness not too many in england though!) and also...spiders!

Snakes and crocodiles- I personally think they are vile and I'd happily obliterate each and every one of them and make them all into handbags and shoes.

I dont like anything with more than 6 legs. Vultures are pretty freaky too

Invertebrates. I have an inane fear of worms, slugs, catapillars, maggots etc etc.

Funnily enough I don't have a fear of spiders or snakes.

I am absolutely terrified of BATS! I have to look away if they appear on the telly, or in a magazine, etc. If we're out in the garden & I spot one - I'm gone>>>>>>>

The family thinks it's hilarious & often tease me with a green & black fluffy one they bought me some time back!

The other animals I detest are snakes & Hyenas!

I'm also very wary of dogs, even tho' Mum & Dad had them when we were growing up. It's probably because I was chased along the road by a neighbour's one when I was little & its gnarling teeth ripped my pretty yellow frock! (I can't resist little puppies tho')!

I can't stand stick insects. Don't even like pictures of them, they really freak me out!!

I love frogs, toads & newts!

I always shake my boots or shoes before I put them on in case of scorpions. I've never been bitten yet.

I've never seen a scorpion in Scotland, but you can never be too careful.

spiders! dont like them, cant look at them in books or tv and completely freak if i find one in the house! *shudder*

Oh-I am just like you,tigger......just the thought of stepping on a s**g on a dark night makes me cringe! I feel like I need wellies and waterproofs to protect me! eeuuucchhhh!

And for Pasta - we get loads of huge fat slugs on our driveway, and I've often trod on them (in bare feet!!). The squelch is bad enough, but trying to clean your feet afterwards is horrible!

I don't like slimy things or little dogs that look like shivering rats.

I used to think cats were evil and sly - now that I have two I know that they are evil and sly. :-)

I can't bear to touch brillo pads though - they really give me the creeps. Do they count?

I once held a bat - it was like a cute little mouse with wings.

I like mice, hamsters and clean pet rats too. Anything furry apart from furry caterpillars!!! Yuk yuk yuk!!

Do insects count??? Daddy long legs (crane flies) - now THEY make me dither! Also giant wasps and hornets. We have swarms of them where we live, and in late summer I keep the doors and windows shut!
