Our human has decided to go on something called a diet.

She has also decided that Merlin and I go on a diet too. She has cut down our sachets from 1.5 to 1 each per day. She actually expects me to eat that dried Iams stuff!

Does this constitute cruelty to cats? Should I contact the SSPCA? Maybe we should look for another human to care for us.

I woke her up in the middle of last night by switching on the vacuum cleaner - but she didn't stop off at our bowls, she just glared at me and went back to bed.

This might be my last post - I might fade away and die.

Frankie the big, tough and handsome tom cat and his sister Princess Merlin.

I have been away giving my human cat-nap lessons and now that we are awake again I see that you have all arranged a party.

We have a big box of pouches that we refuse to eat - it drives our human nuts because she never knows what flavour we are willing to accept at each meal time.

We would probably have a virtual party because we live in Scotland and we aren't allowed out alone.

We have a mouse, I like pulling the wire from behind the desk so that human loses possession of the mouse and starts growling at me. She sounds scary but she is a big softie.

The diet thing is hard - I have been forced to eat my dinner whilst putting a paw in Merlin's dinner (to guard it from Merlin) - this way I can get double portions. Merlin actually likes the nasty Iams stuff so we are okay for now.

I can't remember all the stuff that you other felines have written in the thread. I am off to try and get some food, I am not really hungry - but why let that stop me.

:-)

Can I just say...This thread has brought a big smile to my human's face, and that can only be good for me!!! Bring on the yummy pouches, and thanks everyone! love ya and paw ya!

When are we having our kitty party (with a couple of doggies)? I need to sort out what I'm going to wear!
My mum is smiling also-this has made her smile a lot! But she had to go lay down for a bit cos she had a migraine....I was good and didn't shout at her. I can be good!!!
I am very good to my human too, Pasta. Lately she hasn't been very happy, I can tell! And sometimes she has been crying. So I would come up to her, and gently put my paws on her shoulders and lick her face or head butt her softly! And in bed, I would come up to her face, and stick my cheek to her cheek, so we are very close.

Keep up the good stuff frankiecat refuse the iams dry nasty food and like me your human will give up and give you fresh cooked chicken.
Rusty.
stupid owner called me that because i have a ginger coat
Well, Rusty! My human called me Jess because I look just like Postman Pat's cat, talk about original! Although most of the time she calls me Poopsie, or poopsie-poo....Childish, hey!

Oh Jess-I am only a baby,so I would much rather be naughty-heheh. But your human is very lucky...thats why they have us-so we can take care of them when they don't like other humans too much, and even when they do! puuuurrrrrrrr! x

I can't believe that there are so many cats being treated badly by their human - apart from Rusty (I love roast beef myself).

It is half past three (he wrong one) and human is grumping about being awakened, but she fed us to shut us up. She seems to think that the people in the flat downstairs will complain about the noise of us stomping around during the night - personally I think they are envious of human having such wonderful master and mistress.

However she is off to a Sci-Fi convention in Atlanta in August and leaving us all alone at the cat-hotel. I mean - she is over 40 and still wanting to go on holidays. Unacceptable!

Well I let my human have a lie in until 5.30 to day - I like to lull her into a false sense of swecurity. She too sticks 2 tablet every day down my throat because of my "Thyroid" but at least I got some more mackerel out of her today. If I don't get my way I sit and yell very loudly and don't stop until I do. A person called a vet said I was probably deaf but I know what I'm doing!
Mind you I did hear my human saying she wouldn't swap us for anything and she does buy us lovely catnip
Have a lovely day all my feline friends(and the doggies)
What a lovely thread! :) I grinning from ear-to-ear, and that's from a doggy person, so I can't imagine what cat owners and lovers feel!

Jack will probably be better from afar-I am afraid, kittles, that he is the kind of dog that you won't like!! I'll pour him a glass of, erm, water, to celebrate!

Only just seen this thread as I can only use the computer when my human is at work - she doesn't know I can use it so have to keep that underwraps!

I want to come to the puuurrrttyy too. I can bring catnip filled mice - I'm hoarding them under the chest of drawers at the moment - my silly human thinks I keep losing them but I know where they are!

I've got my human to give me exactly the food I want - I only eat the posh tins of Sheba chicken and tuna. She gives me dried stuff too which is ok but I never eat it in front of her in case she knows I quite like it. frankiecat and merlin - you really need to get your human better trained, it sounds like torture to me.

Party time! Miaow!
