Hi All,
Just wondered if anyone was entering their dogs at Crufts this year.
If so, post and tell us which dogs and I will be cheering them on.
Good luck.

Maybe Scruffs, if there was a category called "Cute But Dim"
Shouldn't this question be in the bestiality section?
I'm blaming Gromit entirely for the grapfruit squash that I have just spat on the laptop keys!

I'd enter my mums jack russell but I'm not sure there's awards for most irritating or completely demented.
me and Lankeela, dont know of anyone else. I have two rough collies entered, a puppy dog and a bitch, not sure about Lankeela although I think somewhere she said she had two or three, we are both there tomorrow. I believe the BBC are doing a piece on one of the rough collie exhibitors as it is her 50th time at Crufts, so they may be featured on BBC on Saturday night. Lankeela has Lancashire heelers.
Well mine will go to Scruffs as well. Totally imperfect looking dogs, but loved to bits. Don't really agree with Crufts at all as I don't believe in animal shows any more than I do baby show - but each to his own.

Just wanted to wish you both all the best for tomorrow.

Got to say, my wee Westie would cause havoc at Crufts.
I like to see all the different breeds of dogs though.
I have a friend who does dog rescue and doesnt agree with dog shows, but at the end of the day if the dog enjoys it, which most do, it is a lovely day out with your dog and a very enjoyable hobby.
I love Westies cruella, but they can be so naughty. I know a lot of old people have them as they think they are getting a nice easy little dog. They then get a great shock!!
I am involved in animal rescue too Jules. I have always been attracted to the ugliest dogs and cats that noone else wants. I understand how you must enjoy them and would never criticise anyone for participating - just not my cup of tea.

You are right about Westies Lofty,
They have the most cute faces as if butter would not melt in their mouths. Then the mayhem!
My lovely ex-employer will be taking her puppy Great Dane to Cruft's this year. The dog's house name is Poppy but I can't remember her pedigree name.

Poppy's not really used to other dogs so anything could happen :0). I hope I see them on TV on Saturday!!

I will be glued to the set all weekend when it is on.
Good luck to everyone. x
Hi Cruella,
I can't keep dogs, we did try years ago, but it was impossible, however, my neighbours enter theirs, Rotties, one came second a couple of years ago, so i'll be cheering hers on.
I am showing my Parson Russell terrier on Sunday
I would love to show my GSD but the kennel club don't like WHITE German Shepherds, they don't 'conform' apparently,
What do they know??!!

Good luck lankeela and jules77
Thanks all, see my post in reply to jules put on today.
