Earlier tonight my husband pulled our dog into the car by lifting him up by his lead, no other support at all, and I can't even look at him. He has said sorry, but it's as if its not enough, I am soooo angry, he may as well have done it to one of the kids.
Help me get on speaking terms again. I just can't seem to forgive him.
Benny had seen a cat and really wanted to give chase, I put him in my side of the car, but when my husband opened his side he jumped straight out, as he was on an extendable lead he was not in any danger. Don't know about sneezing in his tea, I will have to think of a far better punishment than that.
LOL BOO sneeze on his tea!!! I think that is evil what he did i HATE all animal cruelty and that was defo cruel.
To get on speaking terms just ask him to see if he can see just how cruel it was what he did!!! If he can see where he has done wrong then maybe you could begin to be on speaking terms with him again!!! Make him promise that he wont do it again and let him understand just how upsetting it was to see someone do that especially to your dog especially him. Did the dog squeal at all?????
Yes it was in a fit of temper, and my husband called someone else he seen do this an f*I*ing animal a month or so back, so I think the silent treatment tonight will definately make him realise how seriously I am taking this.
How big is your dog? Not that it makes any difference to the cruelty side of it, of course. I'm so glad you are standing up for your dog; he is lucky to have you. Your husband is a git for doing that, but you know inside that it was just a spur of the moment reaction (due to how he reacted after seeing someone do a similar thing himself).
But just to nudge you a bit closer to forgiving him (hopefully - but not too soon, eh?), he was also doing it to protect another animal ...
I'm not defending him - I swear I'm not. Just a reaction though, is what I'm saying. I know he deserves a good kick in the gonads and maybe you'll always worry he might do something like this again now it's happened once, but how cut up is he over it? If he's not at all, then sod him. If he is though, it probably will never happen again, so is he worth a second chance?
Oh come on! He was just trying to control the dog. Is the dog hurt? Did the dog even care? If anything, it might make you dog respect your husband a little more. Don't get me wrong. I don't go around dragging my dog by the lead (my dog is never on the lead and he will stop chasing a cat if I tell him), but his actions hardly merit such furry.
give him a swift boot in the baws, tug at his lugs, rub his nose in ***** and send him to the dugs bed.
crack open the red, feet up wi the duffer for the t.v, and by the morning all will be well lmao.
hope this helps!
