How old should baby fish be to be able to put them in the big tank.

As long as the babies are fast swimmers and your tank has lots of hiding spaces for them they should be ok to go in now.
The short answer is too big to be eated by the other residents! Or set up another tank with peaceful fish like Corydoras & Ancestrus which will only feed on other fish if they are already dead. Hope you've still got baby fish - happy fish keeping.
