hi last week at my aunts we were suprised to see this exotic looking bird sit on a tree just outside of her garden, it had a yellow body with black edges on the tips of its plumage, red beak and black around the eyes, almost like the new romantic era of eye shade going into a point. it was around half the size of a magpie. other birds seemed cautious perhaps due to its vibrant colour. it hung around a while, we never heard its call as it never made a sound. anyone know what it could be? cheers.
hiya jules001.

no that bird was nothing like the one we saw last week.
as it was definetly yellow not green.
thanks for your reply anyway. radio
