It's not really appliance as such but i could not live without my home server (it's got all my music on it) I'd also wouldn't want to live my life without my pro-logic stereo (it makes the music sound soo good)

You can easily do without a kettle, by boiling water up in a saucepan.
When i get trid of my microwave, you can have it Whiffey - I hardly ever use the thing.

Lol - dishwashers (machines) are for the laziest of the lazy! By the time you've spent money on heating the thing up and waiting for the cycle to finish, you could've washed and dried dozens of pots!
