Oh my gosh she is gorgeous, editor! I have been considering a new BC pup as a sister for Jack (our BC boy!) and you have got me all fur-broody again.

Heidi is lovely, my gran's dog was called that. Inca? Jade?

What about Meg. Traditionally BCs have single syllable names. If you have not had a Border Collie before be aware that they need lots of exercise but, most importantly, mental stimulation. If you have not seen Crufts with the dancing dogs...see if you can find them on the net anywhere. I managed to train my Pip to bring her water bowl to me when it was empty by putting in her mouth and walking with her into the living room then dropping it. It took two goes. They are such clever dogs. Be careful around other dogs and people as they can be snappy. It is very important that you assert your dominance by always eating before you feed her and always go into the house or out of a room before her. If you have not had a dog before the dog whisperer is a brilliant book. Wishing you lots of joy with her XX
