neti I've spent ages browsing that virtual Woolies. I wonder what was 6'9 on the jewellery counter? Probably a tiara like the one shaney wears, she must have been jolly well orf, that was a lot of pocket money in the 50s. When I was small I saw a well dressed woman waiting to be served with a bracelet until she gathered it into the palm of her hand & wandered off without paying. tut! Pinching a pick 'n mix was as far as I dared go....oooh, coconut mushrooms, yummy.
Well it's a gloomy day here. My Charlie refused to walk on the grass this morning, hope your Charlie is gathering speed.

Went to The Toby Carvery last night and wont be going there again. There were 22 of us and they had about 2 helpings of Turkey left at 7.45pm. we were all feeling a bit let down as we had gone expecting a Christmas tyoe dinner. So I ended up with Pork which wasn't up to much either.

Funny you should post Coldplay today Vinny, they were talking about Chris Martin on the radio here, quoting him as saying he was considering moving to Sweden because people are cooler here regarding celebrities - fans not pestering you as much and paparazzi almost non-existant. I was gonna look for that quote in English and post it on here but I can't find any evidence of it on the internet so that was probably just him sucking up to us during some gig here, he he.

Yes Kit The Norse Morse starts tomorrow and I shall be glued to the tele . Reading an article in one of the papers it said that Henning Mankell has started writing a new Wallander.Though when we will get it is to be left .They usually publish them in the USA first ,so by the time it is written and translated it could be a couple of years !
Love that Woolies site . We used to have one here but it's a betting shop now
.It was a paradise .Lovely old parquet floors dolls tea sets and popper beads . I loved those and of course as one got older the make up and fourpenny sachets of shampoo.I was amazed that an electric train set was cheaper than a pair of stockings !
