Rabbits

Well, i have a male rabbit and i have a mate with two females I took my boy round to the girls! i put him in the Rabbit run and straight away he jumpeed on one of the rabbits, so we picked him up as our goal is not to breed, However, the other rabbits came to mine and at first there was a bit of running around in circles then they started, well you know! But they didnt... do it how we expected they did it head to.... I am wondering if that is... the way rabbits breed?
