Gungy eyes are pretty common in kittens. The most important thing is not to let it close up or it could at worst lose its eye, if it closes & you can't open it, go straight to the Vet. If it's just a little weepy, you can bathe it with boiled water. If the other eye gets affected make sure you use separate bits of cotton wool for each eye so as not to cross infect. Wash you hands very well & that will help it not spread.
i would bring the kitty to the vet now. im sure its not a comfortable thing for the kitty to be going through and he would probably like to get it fixed the right way instead of waiting for experimental remmedies that may do more damage than good. but if you were to bathe him in boiled water you would of course cool the water first.
bath in warm water with salt
