what sort of family dog would this make? just curious becos my friend has just got one,she has 4 kids,single parent youngest child is 2.

let me rephrase that,shes a very busy lady what with 4 kids and hardly any time to herself.
Lurchers (they're crossbred by definition) are generally an easy type of dog to keep. They're gentle, quiet and intelligent and don't always need lots of exercise, but like most breeds, they thrive on care and attention. I just wonder how much appropriate attention the dog will receive in such a busy household.

yes im thinking that to. she was told he was 10 weeks but has just realised he was born on 26 may. that aint 10 weeks.

its a case of Mum can we have a dog. Oh dear,she has already had complaints by the neighbours for barking all night. No research had gone into it. Oh flip.
We had one for 13 years, she was the sweetest, gentlest dog, good with children.
