Hi just a quick question (not!)
i think this is right but want to check.
is it true that fish absorb water through their skin as opposed to drinking it via their mouth, and if so do they still wee it back out?
thanks

There is no easy answer to your Q. It all depends on where the fish lives, salt or fresh water. Some actually drink and indeed wee, other absorb moisture through their skin through osmosis. Some fish such as salmon are capable of both functions as they need to change their system from salt to fresh water conditions to breed.
