*if they do wee on the floor/carpet, get some litter, soak it in the wee and plonk it back in the litter tray. the litter tray then begins to smell like a toilet
*when the little critters do start to wee on the floor, scoop them up as quickly as possible and plonk them in the tray
*when the cats have finished a feeding session, automatically put them in the litter tray as they are more likely to go at this time
*make sure you clean up any accidents thoroughly to avoid smells encouraging them to go on the floor
this will take persistence and patience - at the end of the day, it's not like you can tell them what they need to be doing! but, keep showing them with love and kindness and they will eventually learn. good luck x
