Help - abandoned baby house martin

I don't know what to do with him. He's had a drink of water, he's got all his feathers. I think a cat had him but he seems fine with no injuries.

The rule of thumb is not to pick up fledglings from the ground. The parents won't be far and they will rescue it if possible. Phone the RSPB or RSPCA for advice but I think they may tell you to put it back. House martins are lovely, aren't they? I think they look like british naval officers in white polo necks with navy jackets.
Well Jack, what giz has said is true however we did rescue a fledgling sparrow earlier this year, we just put him in a fairly warm shoe box overnight, let him get over the shock and we let him go the next day and he was fine, a bit tottery but we think he flew into our window and got all of a dither. It might be worth a try?
Hi all, thanks for your help, unfortunately he died today. He seemed really well yesterday, even managed to eat some worm & drink water but after that he only drank and wouldn't eat. We were going to try and let him go today. We tested him yesterday & he couldn't fly, he'd try and then just flop to the ground (grass) - oh well we tried.
