poorly cat - need a second opinion
1 Answers
i took my cat to the vet with an infected ear. the vet didn't listen to his heart, but he gave him an injection of anti-botics and a steriod injection.
ever since the injections the cat has been gasping for breath, and breathing heavily we had to have the vet to the cat in the middle of the night because he was in obvious pain and he is now in vet hospital, and it is touch and go.
i feel the steriod injection is the reason for this. would anyone be able to dismiss my fears.

Side effects of steroids are less in cats than in dogs, but can include hyperactivity, rapid heart beat and panting, but it would be unfair to comment in this situation, especially as I am not qualified. You need to speak to your vet about your concerns. Good luck, I hope your cat pulls through.
