Sorry i missed your message to me last sat, was following on my phone though, glad to see a certain gravy was wiped from your post. Anyway when mr madboutcats rang me on the sunday i talked him through logging onto AB and leaving you a message hence its rather strange wording. News on marmite is good, where i wait for my bus home a chap waits for a minibus to the village of newcastleton where marmite lives so i keep asking on any updates, and hes off his antibiotics and has had his wound stitched (the vet left wound open to help drain an infection he'd picked up) so it sounds like our brave fighter is well on the road to recovery.....xx love to you and pup.

Hi madboutcats!!! How are you doing?

Mr madboutcats did well!!!! I hadnt realised the troll had been zapped!!! Just looked at the posting now - so pleased he was obliterated - but ...... Lol ...... it now looks as if I am jabbering away to myself!!!!

Cant be doing with the troll!!!!

So pleased to hear about Marmite!!! What a star!!!

So pleased for him and his wee family - is there any news on the low life culprit yet?

Hope you are keeping well. We are fine this end, pup still stealing but ho hum!!!! What's new!!!!!

Weather has been lovely here over last few days so have been out gardening, tidying up - making the most - you know - usual stuff b4 winter is upon us. Pup is here 'helping' me!!!!!

Have a wee question for you - have realised over the past couple of weeks that we have had no flying ants!! (I cant abide them - and will not go out when they take off because they seem to target me and land on me!!!). In fact, this year we have had very few ants in the garden. Usually they trek up and down the patio and we had wee ant mounds around the paths - but nothing this year!!! I have never known a year without flying ants - think the seagulls have missed out this year!!!!

Have you noticed a lack of ants - or have they just decided to up and move from my abode!!!!!!

Love and best wishes to you and yours. xxxxx

Hello alfieblue, im afraid there is no news on the low life that hurt marmite, the man that updates me on marmite was telling me theres a very long queue of people who would like to get their hands on the swine. Back to that troll, i reported it on my phone, i was'nt sure that the email had gone through but judging by his disappearence it worked.
Ive not seen many ants myself (like you i hate flying ants),back in july my mum had one day (when we did have sun) of ants crawling all over the concrete outside the porch doors, we rushed out to buy ant killing spray and only used it the once, and ive not seen many since.and i dont think it's down to the spray.
Had a cracker of a day on sunday and as i was at my mums i got a load of things done in the garden under the watchful eye of two furry foremen, big ginge and sam.Ive got my fingers crossed for good weather during october half term so i can get the rest of my tulip bulbs planted.

Cupar's sitting right in front of the monitor right now, he's making it very hard to see what im typing, he loves trying to catch the cursor, margo is vegetating with her dad on the sofa, i dont think either of them will be going out for long tonight as the weather is back to being wet and really quite miserable.. love to you and pup.xx
What is the story about Marmite - I recognise the name but draw a blank at what has happened.

I lurve Marmite! :-)

Hello wolf63, marmites a cat that was shot by a arrow, it went right through him, narrowly missing any of his vital organs, the brave little puss managed to drag himself home where his horrified owners found him and rushed him to the vets where they saved his life and he is now at home recovering, the culprit is yet to be caught.
Lol at cupar and margo!!! Bless them. Pup keeps bringing me toys to play with when i am on laptop!!!!!! Its not easy to type!!!! Old socks are his favourite playthings!!!! Cheap and cheerful!!! Yuk!!!!

I really hope they catch the low life that did that to marmite - no doubt he/she/it is lying low!!!! How cruel - im so pleased marmite is on the mend. Bless him. Surely someone must know who is responsible. I hope they are caught!!! Its not only a pet - it could have been a wee kiddie or anyone - the mind boggles. What a world we live in!!!!

Anyway got to go now madboutcats - have to cook dinner for son n me!! No doubt i will manage to burn it!!!!

Alf is happy, fed and sending up the zzzzz's!! Love to you and yours, catch up with you soon.xxxxxxxxx

Ps - Lol about big ginge and sam!!!!!!!!xxxxx
