I have had a rabbit for a few years now and she still looks in great health so I was wondering how many years rabbits last for Maximum.

Mine lasted for about 12 years. Every year we would think he wouldn't last another winter and he kept hanging on! He lived in the garden in all weathers although we used to put him in a big hutch overnight and cover the front if it was too cold. Even when it was freezing cold and snowing or raining he used to want to come out and run around. I think he wanted to be a wild rabbit!
Hello fabemmy , my bunny was just over 10 year old when she died .

Nono, you are a bad lad. This is a serious question. In Animals & Nature too.
It varies on the breed. Giant breeds, such as French Lops and Continental Giants weighing 5kgs+ do not make it much beyond five years, but dwarf breeds, such as the Netherland Dwarf or Polish can get to 13 years! Average sized rabbits, such as the Dutch and Lionhead weighing about 2kgs average 7 years.
