black maggot type bug found on my pillow....HELP!!

Hello, can someone please help me identify what I bug i found on my pillow...ewww !!
It was the size of a mouse dropping,black, moves like a maggot or caterpillar,soft belly, but had lots of little legs like a miliped. Its not the first time i have found one in my bed, last time was about a month ago. I have a 4 month old baby and want to get rid of them.
Am now cleaning every corner of the house, taking the bedding to the laundrettes !!

Any advice would really really be appreciated !!

Oh my God this is even worse - ever since I was on holiday in Lincs in July I've been itching and scratching back of my neck. My daughter had a look yesterday and it's all inflamed - do I have LICE??

hi it wasnt head lice, that was my first thought. Just checked the picture too make sure.
Also looked at the beg bugs and wasnt that.
God it makes me itchy just thinking about it. Thank you for your help xx
