c0ckatiel shaking

my c0ckatiel keeps shivering i have 2 bids in the cage bertie bird who is 2 years old and baby bassett who is 1.
bertie is fine but fo rthe last 2 days bassett has been shaking and is all fluffed up do you think something is wrong with him, should i take him to a vet.
He still gets out of the cage and flies aroung and is eating and drinking

IF you can take it to the Vet, so much the better. Otherwise keep it warm (30� min) for 48 hours and gradually reduce the temp. Don't give it any human cold/flu medicines as birds are very touchy to the wrong medicines. There is a three in one chance that the bird will get better with just warmth and a two in one chance if you take it to a Vet who has some experience with birds.
