What animal would you least like to be reincarnated as and why?

Mine is the Greenland Shark. Here's why: 1) Greenland Sharks are born with sight however most Greenland Sharks are attacked by parasites rendering the vast majority blind... with parasites growing out of their eyes. 2) Evolution has tried to help them though by providing them with huge noses so they can smell out their food. Lucky them - they eat carrion which their sniff out lying on the bottom of the ocean 3) Again trying to put a positive spin on things, at least the carrion must be fairly well preserved by the freezing arctic wtaers which the Greenland Shark inhabits. Brrrh. 4) Living and surving in such low temperatures dictates a special physiology. Greenland sharks have high levels of ammonia which seemingly helps, of course, it has the side effect of making them smell like wee.

What a great question. Hard to top your answer, really. I don't think I'd like to be an arachnid or an insect - so very limiting.

I'd hate to be a chameleon. I'd have a gross curly tongue (curly hair is enough, thanks), bulging funny eyes, uuugh, and that skin! I'd have to eat bugs and other creepy things and I'd have a complex about never being able to blend into a crowd no matter how hard I try. And I'd hate being cold-blooded... and having to sleep outside.
