Yes, female hamsters usually have their period four days out of every month. This is indicated by the female hamster's crankiness, and general negative attitude towards male hamsters. The female hamster may also burst into tears for no apparent reason, or eat an entire tub of Haagen-Daaz ice-cream. The best advice during this time is to be supportive to the female hamster, or leave her the hell alone when she asks.
