Medenhall -- I think we need some help with this one.  Could you explain the question a bit more?

Are you asking about different breeds?  Or about how you tell individual poultry apart?

I reckon tiny details?? like mayb # of feathers or sumfthin' :D
They may have different DNA or foot prints.
If you keep chickens, you soon learn that the same as all creatures, they are different, although they may look the same, colouring etc, they have different personalities, and just have slight differences in feathers size etc.
