Does anyone know if the RSPCA have the same criteria for seeing sick animals for free or a small cost as the PDSA - where you have to be claiming either Housing Benefit assistance or Council Tax assistance? I've just tried to ring our nearest branch and they are closed.

I don't think they provide a vet service, but their website has this link for getting a vet's advice..

Yes they do, they either offer treatment at their hospitals or hold clinics within vets surgeries or their local branches at certain times. Check out their 'help with vets bills' part of their Animal Welfare area and if you put in your postcode or town it gives the details of where and when, but you have to be in receipt of certain state benefits.
