LOL bigmamma. Our previous dog was also a right tea leaf.
I had made a batch of cornish pasties for the freezer which were on the work surface to cool. He snaffled the lot. He wasn't very popular that day

My JR cross isn't a 'foodie', she does go and get her 'squeakie' at dinner time every day though and squeak it until she gets fed. Weird.....

However, my yorkie is the biggest thief you can imagine!! He also tries to thieve food as it comes out of the oven - its actually quite a struggle to stop his getting burnt!!

Hee , I can imagine your little JR with a squeaky , relentlessly squeaking it until you feed her . I don't know how they don't get burnt , my JR has learned to stay clear of the hot oven , but any hot food that accidently hits the floor ...he's onto it !

My Yorkie is onto anything that hits the kitchen floor - he just assumes it's edible. He's had some nasty shocks!! x

I was loading the washing machine the other day and after all the clothes were in I threw in a Persil gel pod ....my puppy jumped in after it and came out , heading off with the gel pod gently in his jaws . I did rescue it in one piece btw .

My JR cross jumped into a hedge on Sunday and came out with a partridge! And she was on the lead. It was all done very quietly funnily enough. She looked so pleased with herself!! We took the partridge away from her and there was no damage, but I expect it died from shock. It ran straight past our yorkie who took no notice whatsoever - he has no hunting instincts at all!!
