Well the snow is not that thick here at the moment, The cats are lined up at the door as they want to go out, I open the door and they just look at me to say your kidding right, I then shut the door and they want me to open it again?

The dogs wont even get out of the bed, I think they are holding the bladders to bursting point here,

What does your little ones have to say about it?

My cats werent too sure at first, they go out, come back in, go out etc!! A cat who visits us often was out in the schools playground this morning running around in the snow.
My chickens dont seem to be impressed, the ducks love it, my lil silkies are in and out of their house and my bantams just refuse to leave their house, think its too cold on their lil feet!!
Kids loved their sled we built out of an old water butt turned inside out tho, goes so fast!!!
Lol josaphine , my dogs did the same , but eventually went out when their bladder was knocking on their throats !
They came back in shaking the flakes of snow off and staring at the towel to be dried off :-D
x
my two are crossing their legs.
One of mine has her legs well and truly crossed. The other one has been out in the snow and caught a bird!!! Little so and so.
lol @ rosetta........................I would like to see that, send us a pic.
:-)
Harvey Pickle Pants is desperate for a poo and wont use the litter tray I have made for him!

He is grumpy and crossing his legs!

Mind you - even if he does go out.. there is nowhere to dig a hole in the dirt to go anyway! Poor thing!!!!

As he is long haired everytime he does go out he comes in caked in snow!

Poor Pickle.. its not easy being a cat!

Well, I've just kicked the dog out. You should have seen the look of reproch on his face lol.
Meanwhile the cat snoozes and snores so she isn't going anywhere fast. In the past Ive seen her wee under the garden table when its been raining, straight there and then straight back. She is definitely a fair weather cat.
my dog has exhausted himself trying to catch the snowflakes - he lies in wait and suddenly pounces.

He loves the snow but he's a husky so he should
Our cat wanted to go out at 4am but wouldnt go when I opened the door as it was a blizzard out there. He decided to hang on till waking us up again at 6am and as I have to get up at 6.30 anyway decided to get up then and kick him out. He went out the door onto the garden at just sat there looking at me. I had to get my wellies on to clear some snow off the soil so he could go on it. !! Who rules who ?
My dog Murphy loves it! He has been out rolling in it, eating it, jumping up and down and running around like a looney! x
Colin the cat has been out and the snow came up to his belly! he is a Norwegian Forest Cat so should be set up for the conditions, but he was pathetic and was back in after 5 minutes.

he's asleep on my bed after his adventure!
Max loves the stuff, If it rains he's in like a shot but if I'd let him he'd lie out in the snow all day. Luckily we havent had a lot but this morning when we went for his walk he was like a kid who had to run through every patch of fresh snow and roll in every drift that hadn't already been trampled. At the moment he's sat at the window watching the snow come down and sulking because we wont let him out in it
My 2 had the look of horror when I opened the door. They'd better pluck up some courage soon as I don't have a litter tray!!!
Tansy the old (21yrs) cat has her own litter tray, so no problem there. The other two, tomcats Frankie and Felix, did a quick dash out in the snow, and back in again. Now both asleep in front of the fire. It's a grand life for cats!!! :-)
Milly our cat isn't the slightest bit interested in going out today, so out come the litter & tray from the garage!

She's been enjoying sitting on the window sill watching the snow coming down though! She's now snuggled up fast asleep & I feel like joining her after my long walk in it!
Sally's not got a litter tray so she will have to go out eventually. She must have a bladder the size of Europe lol
One of my dogs just wants me to go out and play ball with her. She will remain disappointed.

The other dog has such short legs that he hates it too and stays out just long enough to do what nature intended.

The cat has been on our bed all day so far, with a short break for eating. However, she has an indoor loo!!!

I like looking at it from the comfort of my living room - I hate it outside!!
It's so deep here now, yay! If Milly went out she'd disappear!
My Lottie (8 month labrador) absolutely loves it...she's on a mission to eat it all.! I loved it on her walk today with 6 other dogs, all shapes and sizes..the Westies were literally lying on their stomachs in the snow so you could hardly see them.
My cat appears to adore the snow! Last night when it had only snowed a few inches he was running all over in it. He even ran up my daughters big slide in the garden and slid back down again. He was going nuts and on the street it looked like he had a fight!
He isn't running as fast in it today as it is now around 5 inches but he still has gone out to play in it!
