My mom has a dog which can't stop eating. A small chiwawa that loiters around the house pestering everyone to give it food. The last time while taking my daily vitamin supplements, a tablet slipped through my fingers and the dog ate it without it even touching the ground. What are the odds huh? My mom takes care of the dog herself but then recently it's relentless appetite is starting to be of a burden. She feeds it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening after work but that dog can't seem to get enough! Now it's eating miscellaneous stuff like dead lizards, grass, and even newspapers appeared chewed. An Xray picture taken showed the dog even ate a couple of stapels and I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't get hooked unto it's intestines. What is wrong with that dog?? How do I surpress it's appetite!?

it doesn't sound normal rfor a dog to be eating that much. Firstly I would get it checked with a vet to make sure there is no underlying cause for this. If this is ok I would look at whether the dog is bored, is it only getting attention when it eats, and stuff like that. but your first stop should be the vet
Sounds like your dog may have worms.  Take it to the vet quickly as worms can be fatal.
