Just watched a Silentnight ad on tv, y'know the one with the Hippo in pyjamas, and the duck. Well, now in the latest ad they are both married (or living in sin) and have a whole host of kids. The odd thing is they are all Hippo kids. This set me thinking about several questions: 1) Is it physically possible for a fully grown Hippo to have intercourse with a feathered baby bird, I'm just thinking in terms of girth compared to the size of the chick's opening? 2) Is it morally right? 3) Will the male Hippo always have the dominate gene? Or is it possible to have a bird hippo cross breed, something like a chickappotomus or hippen?
