frogspawn? I noticed yesterday that I had some in our pond, but have just been out in the garden and there is tons of the stuff, it is very high in the water, so I expect a lot will get killed off by the frosts that we are due to have, isn't it a tad too early for this?

We got tonnes of the stuff, and the biggest toad I ever seen in my life!
Not a sign of the stuff at the moment, I too would have thought it a bit early, but obviously the frogs and toads think otherwise
Yep. Looked at the pond yesterday and there's loads of it.
My frogs laid on Saturday night, in both my ponds. We've had quite a severe frost up here, but most of the spawn is under water and one of my ponds is quite deep, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!! The taddies in the garden pond usually get eaten by the newts, though.... (although some survive), but those in the duck pond (no ducks!!) stand a better chance!! K
Yes I've had frog spawn for over a week but evey year it will the pond will freeze over but the frog spawn will survive. amasing stuff
