We used to have a greyhound and she was a terrible thief. Anything she could reach was fair game to her, not to mention raking through the kitchen bin - the amount of times she did that ! All over the floor !
But, and this is true, the worst and most embarrassing thing was one day we were at a market, I had her on the lead and, as we passed by a lady with a shopping bag, our mutt snatched a pork chop from the lady's bag !! The lady was excellent about it but my wife and I were mortified. Can't remember what exactly became of the pork chop !

Lol, what a funny story! My mum n dad used to have a boxer dog and my dads father bought my mum a big box of thorntons chocolates, somehow the dog got into the living room and stuffed the lot...wrappers strewn all over the place.....I also remember having an easter egg, and by this time they had another dog (a lurcher) she somehow got the egg out of the box, stuffed it down and left the foil neatly at the side of the box....cow!
When I was younger one our cats came home one Sunday afternoon with someones roasted joint of pork, it was so big he must have had to drag it! He plonked it in the middle of the kitchen and sat there meowing for us to come and see how well he'd done for us - he looked so proud of himself!
And then there was the time a neighbour knocked and said can one of you get your cat that is currently stuck head first in our letterbox, not surprisingly it was his tummy stopping him getting all the way through!
I miss the little rascal ;-)

Lovely, that reminded me of my first siamese - came home one day with someones roast chicken - lovely little hunter he was.
Then we had a boxer whose favourite trick was stripping wallpaper - in the end we gave up and stuck to paint. she then took to chatting to a chap in the pub who (unknown to us) was sharing his barley wine with her - we had to carry her home once - yes she did have a hangover the next day - but she lived to be 16 so it cant have done her too much harm
Later we had a great dane who absolutely loved having her nails varnished - she then popped down to the local village pub and showed all her friends - she also liked wearing the cheapo necklaces we got out of crackers and would parade around as if she was the queen - I so miss that dog.
