only one now the lad had 2 tumors and had to be put to sleep He was also blind in both eyes . barra is nearly 20

yes the tabby he was blind for approx last 5 years of his life . he was very timid so the vet said it would be unwise to let them operate on him even if they could do something for him

DrFilth. Bless him, he looks so content sitting in the grass, and at least you'll have happy memories of him. It's always so sad to have to let them go when the time is right. How did Barra settle after his pal had gone? Schutz.

Schutzengel - 22 !! Mine are 4 this summer and there is no way they will live to 22. I fear that I may snap and throttle them at some point.

Thanks Wolf. I'll bet your two are gorgeous, only 4yrs, and no doubt full of mischief. Have fun, even when they're up to no good, they're still lovely. My other two are 3 and 6 (tom cats) and a couple of hooligans, so I know what you mean about feeling like strangling your pair. Schutz.

My two are brother and sister - he is a laid back little thug and she is long haired and ferocious.

I love them to bits - most of the time.

Hi Wolf. I know what you mean about the different personalities. I think she cats are usually quite bossy. Tansy, although she's a little old lady she's still top cat, and boxes the two tom cats around the ears from time to time, if in her opinion they step out of line. :-).
