Well she is only eating fish and rice or mashed potatoes , but might give these you have mention a go. thanks
my last dog was like that - ended up feeding her on scrambled eggs, rice, and chicken....
Question Author
and what did you do?
mashed spud can make dogs loose. It sounds like you have more than a slight problem here...does the vet advise the diet she is on...is there any way she could be eating anything else?
Question Author
She has had her stools analyzed and the results came back clear, but the vet did mention stress could be a big factory as she is old and the slightest thing can stress her.
oh poor honey, I have so been there. my old girl ended up on a small dose of valium which really helped but it is a tightly controlled drug and you would need to discuss it with your vet. failing that, there is a herbal treatment, skullcap and valerian from dorwest herbs which can help.
