Boxer bleeding from penis - why?
2 Answers
Our one-year old boxer drips blood from his penis, sometimes it seems to be diluted to a pinky colour but sometimes it's bright red. Our vet thinks it's due to kidney stones, but the treatment prescribed resulted in a very short-term improvement (about a week) and now the problem is back again. Does anyone know what else this could be before I go and pay for more expensive advice and treatment?

You've got a vet on the case, and it's best to follow his advice. If the problem persists, report it back to your vet - sometimes kidney stones (like some other ailments) requires more than one treatment. Good luck to you and your pooch!
