On a previous entry about having Starlings galore in our garden, we now have at least 6 babies to add to the list. It has been amazing all the babies around this year. We had at least 3 baby Robins, a number of baby Sparrows and a couple of Blackbirds feeding their young.

I also believe it may be a couple of Dunnocks also clamouring after the mealworms I put out for the Robins feeding their young ones. Fantastic to watch!

Hope your garden experiences are good too!

Yes, they're all very busy in our gardens Chistine, especially lots of blackbirds, greenfinches & sparrows. The robins have disappeared though, probably gone to find a better class of nesting site :o). The sweetest thing we've spotted this year is a family of coal tits, they're so cute & tiny. I think they probably survived the cold spring thanks to my little dog donating his fur clippings, I saw some taking it for their nests a few weeks ago.

Thats lovely to hear Robinia. How funny, our dog donated lots of his fur to nests too. The birds look hilarious carrying the white fuzzy fur off to their nests. We unfortunately do not see many small tits or finches. I am hoping with the niger feeder we may see some finches. thanks again.
